John Lloyd Hanson, writing as Lawrence Hanson, was a biographer and an author of textbooks and handbooks. He wrote over forty-five titles of historical biography of artists and writers during the 1950s-1970s. There were often co-written with his wife and fellow writer Elizabeth Hanson, who herself wrote children’s books from 1948.

Legacy

His gift of Royalties to the RLF from his literary estate helps support future generations of writers.
