Bequests & Legacies
A gift in your Will to the RLF will help writers facing hardships and ensure more writers can benefit from our education and outreach work. We can advise on how to leave a bequest or legacy and make a difference.
Estates
Most of the RLF’s income has come from authors, who bequeathed some or all of their literary estate for the benefit of future generations of writers. The RLF has been a beneficiary and custodian of the estates of, amongst others, Colin MacInnes, Somerset Maugham, A.A. Milne and Arthur Ransome.
