About
Thomas Norman Ault was born in the United States. A book illustrator and writer of children’s literature initially with his wife (He)Lena until her death in 1904, and thereafter alone. Later a scholar of English poetry of the seventeenth century, particularly specialising in the life and works of Alexander Pope.
Legacy
His gift of Copyright to the RLF from his literary estate helps support future generations of writers and writer/ illustrators.
