About

Architectural historian Priscilla Metcalf was the author of books on town planning with a particular emphasis on Victorian London. Her Victorian London, originally published in 1972, was fifth in a series of books that give a portrait of the British capital at significant periods in its history.

She collaborated with Nikolaus Pevsner on at least two books for the Folio Society on English Cathedrals of various regions.

Legacy

Her gift of Copyright to the RLF from her literary estate helps support future generations of writers.
