Welcome to our new RLF Fellows

At the end of last month, we welcomed 44 new Fellows to the RLF with our yearly induction event at St Bride Foundation in London.

Chair Sheena Wilkinson and mentors Amanda Mitchison, Jini Reddy and Simon Robson spoke to our new Fellows about their experiences of the Fellowship scheme, followed by smaller group discussions with our mentoring team about what they can expect from their posts in universities across the UK.

Members of the RLF team, including Chief Executive Edward Kemp and Director of Education Steve Cook, spoke about the work of the RLF, and some of our trustees and existing Fellows joined us in the evening to introduce themselves to our growing Fellowship.

When each new Fellow officially begins their post at a university this September, they will join the ranks of more than 750 professional writers who have worked in over 100 higher education institutions since the scheme’s inception in 1999.
