About

Robin Etherington is a writer of children’s fiction and all-ages graphic novels, as well as numerous comic strips for print and digital mediums. His books have been translated into six languages. He has also worked with film and animation scripts.

Since 2008 Robin has spent half his time teaching creative free-thinking and creative writing to thousands of school children across the UK. He’s also taught and toured internationally, from Singapore to New Zealand, appearing at book and comic festivals.

In 2016 Robin and his brother Lorenzo created an online tutorial series entitled How to Think When You Draw/Write, a free and extensive resource intended as a perpetual growing library for creators around the world. In 2019 a physical copy of Robin’s first two years’ work was published via a Kickstarter campaign.

A student of History, Robin graduated from York University and initially pursued a career in music before rediscovering his love of sequential storytelling. He lives in Bristol with his wife and son. He is currently wrestling with his first adult novel.
