Meet our 2025 Reading Round Fellows

The RLF's 2025 Reading Round Fellows
  • 9 July, 2025

The RLF’s community Reading Round groups return this summer, led by some more of our wonderful RLF Fellows.

Available to any member of the public who would enjoy discussing books and reading with other like-minded literature fans, Reading Round groups run all across the UK. They are led by a professional writer, who begins each session by introducing a short story or poem to the group for everyone to read and talk about together. You don’t need to do any homework or preparation and there are no qualifications required – Reading Round is for anyone with an open mind, an appreciation for books and a willingness to listen.

The Fellows leading Reading Round groups this year are (pictured above, from left to right):

Juliet Clare Bell in Birmingham, Clementine Burnley in Edinburgh, Jim Carruth in Glasgow, Rebecca Colby in HarrogateIsabelle Dupuy in Taunton, Sharon Duggal in HoveAlys Fowler in Aberystwyth, Christopher Hill in Sherborne, Elizabeth Holloway in Sheffield, Harry Man in Darlington, C.D. Rose in Todmorden or Manchester, Ian Seed in Lancaster, Jamie Lee Searle in Winchester, Amanda Smyth in Leamington Spa, Testament in Leeds and Alex Wong in Cambridge.
