Five Rivers Child Care, a long-term partner of the Royal Literary Fund’s Writing For Life community reading programme, recently published the latest in a series of digital books which aim to tell the stories of young Black care experienced people.

The digital book Do You See Me? explores the everyday racism experienced by Five Rivers’ children and is part of the Young People of Colour series, which also includes Hair & Skin Care Advice and two publications produced by the Black Care ExperienceWe Are Not The Same and Our Hair Care, Our Skin Care.

Writing For Life Fellow Evie Coppard (who publishes as Yvonne Coppard) worked with Five Rivers staff and young people to create Do You See Me?
