Beatrix Campbell is an award-winning writer and broadcaster. Her books range from Wigan Pier Revisited (about poverty, politics and George Orwell) and Goliath: Britain’s dangerous places (about riots) to Diana, Princess of Wales: how sexual politics shook the monarchy.

She has also been a writer-in-residence working with young offenders and people surviving sexual abuse and exploitation. She has co-authored plays with Judith Jones. Her most recent book The End of Equality was published in 2013. She was awarded the OBE for her services to equality in 2009.
