About
A former Merchant Navy officer, Brian Callison worked in the construction and leisure industries before becoming a novelist. Meanwhile, following Territorial Army service with the Royal Military Police, he returned to his seafaring roots to maintain an active part-time connection with the sea as a training officer in the Royal Naval Auxiliary Service.
He has written more than twenty novels, including A Flock of Ships (Collins, 1970), and Redcap (2006).
