Simon Jenner is a poet, playwright and commissioning editor, writing on music, drama and poetry. Belatedly educated at Leeds and Cambridge, his PhD was a study of 1940s Oxford poetry. His major works include: About Bloody Time (2007), Wrong Evenings (2011), Two for Joy (2013) and Winstanley (2021) – all published by Waterloo Press. The late Martin Seymour-Smith commented: ‘there is genius in his poetry.’

Since 2003 Jenner has been director of Survivors’ Poetry. Jenner’s reviews of theatre, opera, books and art appear on his website.
