Meet the new RLF Fellows for 2026

Over the next few weeks, 47 new RLF Fellows – including Tammy Cohen, pictured above at our yearly induction event for incoming Fellows – will start their first year of work in the RLF’s Fellowship scheme, which supports students at universities and colleges across the UK. They join another 60 writers who continue in post from last year.

Our new Fellows for 2026 are:

• In Central England – Will Eaves, Chris Manby and Eley Williams
• In the East of England – Kaddy Benyon, Sam Byers, Nizrana Farook, Ruth Martin, Keiron Pim, Sid Sagar and Kathryn Simmonds
• In Greater London and Herts – Gurpreet Kaur Bhatti, Tammy Cohen, Robert Evans, Josh Lacey, Tim Lott, Nadine Matheson, Patricia Marques, Julia Pascal, Lara Pawson,  Leone Ross and Anna Wharton
• In the Midlands – Emma Pass and Ashok Patel
• In the North East – Bob Beagrie and Bridget Deane
• In the North West – Andrew Forster-Holland and Joe Ward Munrow
• In Northern Ireland – Brian McGilloway
• In Scotland – Caroline Eden, Jenni Fagan, Josephine Giles, Kathleen Jamie, Claire Prentice and Catherine Simpson
• In the South East – Kate Harrison, Linda Marshall Griffiths, Cole Moreton and Melinda Salisbury
• In the South West – Meredith Miller, Robin Mukherjee, Orlando Murrin and Chris Vick
• In Wales – Beverley Jones
• In Yorkshire – Rachel Bower, Maureen Lennon, Molly Naylor and Rebecca Ryan
